Oh man, I wish I could sew – I could wrap each hat in a tote bag! LOL.

That would match the year we made wine and I sewed bottle bags and we gave that as presents (to some people!). Kinda cheap I know but you don’t always have lots of money. Anyway, if you can knit and weave, I am sure you can sew. Practice, that’s all.

Oh, that reminds me of the Christmas I made everyone bottles of lemon-pepper mix (i called it lemon zing) and instead of wrapping paper, I hand-sewed little reversible gift bags out of christmas fabric. It took a couple of hours to make the gifts, and weeks of all-nighters to make the wrapping! My son thought it was cool, so I also taught him how to sew at the same time. I don’t think either one of us has sewn anything since…and that was 13 years ago!
